Hiking Trails: We will be completing the Wilderness Loop, a moderate-challenging
5 mile trail with 736 ft elevation gain. Includes some steep climbing and rock scrambling.

The 1.5 mile Adventure Loopl is also an option for those who want to participate with a little less challenge. The Adventure Loop is considered easy-moderate

Please let us know if you want to complete the 1.5 mile trail loop as an alternative. We will hike with you until your trail loops back and we'll meet you back at the zoo when we are finished with the 5 mile trail loop 😊

Zoo and gardens are open 8am -5pm, so plan on staying for the day if you are able to😊

Please pack a refillable water bottle, snacks, and a lunch or plan to buy lunch at one of the park cafes.

We will be meeting to eat lunch and explore the zoo following the hike.

Again, please feel free to stay all day and enjoy the many attractions and exhibits the zoo has to offer following our event.

The Living Desert hours are 8am-5pm in May
