Bring cash for $5/person entry fee, 4-H fundraisers, gift sales, and Innovative Catering Concepts Food Truck.

Everything is Cash only. There is no ATM or MAC. We cannot accept credit cards or any other type of payment.

Gates will be open noon-4 p.m.

No Pets. (This is a farm rule for the health and safety of the livestock and visitors.)

Adults are responsible for their children. Participate at your own risk.

NO parking on the farm. Please park on Pine Rd. Access for authorized vehicles and ADA individuals both with visible permits/placards. (Rangers will be at intersection for support.)

Visitors can park on Susquehanna or Verree Rds, Pennypack Environmental Center, Champions Playground and the Verree Road Parking Area. There will be shuttle pick-up and drop off at the environmental center and Verree Road Parking Area, which are both also accessible by the 67 bus.

This program is all-weather, all outdoor. Please dress for the weather, walking, and standing.

The bathrooms and picnic areas are all accessible, however, there are hills and some uneven pavement, rocks, mud, and animal poo.

Everything is subject to change, but will be communicated via Facebook and the Sheep Shearing event page discussion.

Photos will be taken of participants during this program for use by the Pennypack Environmental Center and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. Calling all kickball enthusiasts, furry friends, and spectators! Join us for an epic kickball showdown at Hillside Recreation Center. No experience needed. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Come to play, come to cheer, just come!!!

When: Saturday, April 26th Time: Game starts at 2 PM (Players should arrive at 1:30 to warm up, review the rules, and pick teams)

Where: Hillside Recreation Center 201 Fountain St, Philadelphia, PA 19128

Lace up your kicks and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon of friendly competition and laughter. Games typically last between 45 minutes and 1 hour, so come prepared to play or cheer. The last couple of times we did this we played 2 games and hope to do the same.

I will set up a table. You can bring snacks, beverages, and chairs. After we can celebrate our victories (or commiserate our losses).

Plenty of street parking is available. This is weather permitting. If it rains we will reschedule.
