## What we're about
The Denver Formula 1 Club was created in March of 2012 by Schuyler Ocheltree because F1 fans were so hard to come by in this country. The group had a slow start due to unfavorable race times and a lack of a good venue to get together and watch the races.
The current organizer, Daniel, took over the group in September of 2012, with Aymii joining him as co-organizer a few years later.
At the start of the 2013 season, the group found The Three Lions Pub along with Jon and Ian Forget through the help of Walter Penny. Our timely union finally gave the group a real venue, opening as early as 5:30 AM to serve us great drinks and food in a truly perfect setting. Unfortunately, all good things seem to come to an end, and in January 2019 the Three Lions poured its last pint and shut the doors for good.
Thankfully, we found a new venue at the Will Call in RiNo. Will Call was a great fit and the Club continued to grow. Most of our watch parties were at RiNo but we ended up with a great backup venue at The Celtic downtown.
As the 2020 season geared up it was almost as quickly shut down by the global pandemic. The race organizers were able to pick up the pieces and get back to racing in July and we ended up with a "full season". There were no watch parties in 2020 due to restaurant restrictions.
We were able to start up our watch parties again in March of 2021 and have been at The Celtic on Market ever since.
No matter the driver you like or the team you love, come down to The Celtic on appropriate Sundays no matter the hour. There will always be a group of die-hard F1 fans to watch the lights go out, Cheers!

Ver todo- Miami GP Watch Party - MIAMI VICE THEMED & Sponsored by McLaren! The Celtic on Market & Off Track Betting, Denver, CO
SPECIAL NOTES: Come dressed in your Miami Vice look! There will be prizes for best costumes, and McLaren will be bringing a bunch of their awesome cars for photo ops. Heineken will also be there again giving out free beer and swag. This is one of our most unique events of the season, so dig out your neon and come cheer with us!
Join us at The Celtic on Market Sunday, May 4th (note - this is posted earlier than usual! It's on May 4th.) for the pre-race starting at 1:30pm with lights out at 2:00pm. There will be food and beverages available the entire time.
Because of the group size and staffing needs, we request that everyone meet the "two drink minimum." That being said, ordering food counts, so even if you're not a drinker, it shouldn't be hard to find something. Basically, just get anything besides tap water, and the Celtic will continue to welcome us with open arms.
New and long-time fans of every driver/team are welcome.
If you're a group newbie and/or you'll be alone, send me a private message and I may be able to aside a spot for you in the Organizers' Paddock (space permitting) so you can make some new friends.
Also, if you combine Miami Vice and Star Wars as your "look" you will be my new hero...May the 4th be with you. - Aymii
## Miami
### When was the track built?
Making its F1 debut in May 2022, the Miami International Autodrome is a temporary circuit, but one designed to have a permanent feel. Set in the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens, home to the NFL’s famous Miami Dolphins franchise, the track is the culmination of a development process that simulated no less than 36 different layouts before settling on a thrilling, 19-turn lap that provides a street circuit vibe, not dissimilar to Melbourne’s Albert Park.
### When was its first Grand Prix?
The inaugural Miami Grand Prix took place in 2022, the Florida race joining its Texan counterpart in Austin to become the second US race on the calendar – and the 11th different American venue to host a round of the Formula 1 world championship.
### What's the circuit like?
A street-track spectacular. With the Hard Rock Stadium at its epicentre, the 5.41km layout will feature 19 corners, three straights, potential for three DRS zones, and an estimated top speed of 320km/h. There are elevation changes too, the main one found between Turns 13 and 16, with the track heading over an exit ramp and under various flyovers across uneven ground. The Turn 14-15 chicane, meanwhile, has an uphill approach, with a crest in the middle, and then drops down on exit.
