De qué se trata
SketchBomb is a sketch group of artists who meet once a month in a cafe (or any other location) to sketch, chat, and have a good time. At SketchBomb, we have a loose system which starts with free-sketching and then the group comes up with themes that everyone adheres to. We have a 'Show and Yell' round at the end, where everyone see everyone else's work that brings in critique, praises, encouragement and fun. It results in lot of fun, production of some cool work and new friendships. SketchBomb is a sketch group started by Mike Henry (@Zatransis) and a few artist friends in San Francisco. They started as a small group that met once a month to sketch, chat and have a good time. In just a few years, SketchBomb grew up to have more editions in different cities of US, like Austin, Chicago, Seattle and many more. SketchBomb Barcelona with Rafael Andrade as new host (@andrade.art) is the second overseas edition of the SketchBomb community, after SketchBomb - New Delhi. What do you need in order to attend? You, just need to show up! All artist skill levels and people of all ages are welcome.
¿Qué es SketchBomb?
SketchBomb consiste en un grupo de artistas que se reúne una vez al mes en un café (o cualquier otro lugar) para dibujar, charlar y pasar un buen rato. Es un encuentro informal donde se comienza con una sesión de dibujo libre para luego pasar a un tema de trabajo en el que todos los artistas participan.Finalmente hay un “Show and Yell” es decir, se muestra el resultado de la sesión entre todos los artistas compartiendo así críticas, consejos y risas. El resultado es muy divertido, creas ilustraciones con un estilo muy fresco y además nuevas amistades!
¿Cuándo comenzó?
SketchBomb comenzó en San Francisco de la mano de Mike Henry (@Zatransis) y algunos de sus amigos artistas. Empezaron como un pequeño grupo que se reunía una vez al mes para esbozar, hablar y pasar un buen rato. Hoy en día ha crecido hasta tener más ediciones en diferentes ciudades de Estados Unidos, como Austin, Chicago y Seattle entre otros. SketchBomb-Barcelona con Rafael Andrade como nuevo host (@andrade.art) es la segunda edición internacional de la comunidad SketchBomb, después SketchBomb-Nueva Delhi.
¿Qué se necesita para poder asistir?
Es para todos tipo personas independientemente de su nivel artístico o edad, todos son bienvenidos. Así que ya sabes, ¡Ven y diviértete!
