What we’re about
Come and join us for a relaxed, friendly and informal conversation class. We offer classes for people who have an intermediate level of English. You will be able to take part in pair and group work with a worksheet in small group discussions/games.
Please register at the kiosk inside the front door, then come and join us for regular classes with an emphasis on friendship and optional fellowship meetings after class if you would like to take part.
Each week we have a different topic to discuss and you will have opportunities to practice your English, learn a lot about different cultures and languages, and make new friends from around the world. Our classes are completely free and are run by a TEFL English Teacher and/or fluent English speaker helpers.
IREC church provides our free venue, and we welcome everyone (especially if you are new to Melbourne or wanting to improve your English), no matter what your background is. We look forward to meeting you (please bring your own pen). We are at 552 City Road, South Melbourne (at the doorway turn left).
