Narrabeen to Forestville! Beach to Bush! Epic!! 22km Medium/Hard
We commence at Narrabeen B1 Bus Stop, on Pittwater Road between Albert and Waterloo Streets, by no later than 9:00am. B-Line buses run to this location every 10 minutes or so.
A brisk walk around the very scenic Lake Narrabeen takes us to bush tracks and the Slippery Dip Trail that we follow up to Belrose and a few sneaky back street manoeuvres which feed through to Glenrose Village shopping centre where we break for lunch and clean bathrooms, 12 km into the walk. PLENTY OF GREAT FOOD OFFERINGS HERE!
After lunch we hit the bush and use French's Creek trail through to The Cascades, where we join Middle Harbour Creek Trail to the Lyrebird Track, where we head off up Carroll's Creek and through to Forestville. We pop out of the bush at Warringah Road where there are lots of buses back to Chatswood and the City. The very nice Forestville RSL Club is just across the road for members who wish to join me for an end of walk beer or other refreshment.
