What we’re about
Welcome to Introvert Happy Hour!
Silent Book Club started in a local bar in San Francisco in 2012 by a couple of friends—Guinevere de la Mare and Laura Gluhanich. There are now Silent Book Club chapters all over the world.
Silent Book Club is about community. Everyone is welcome, and anyone can join. Silent Book Club Melbourne meets on the last Sunday of each month.
Created for introverts there is no pressure to speak, converse, or cringe through awkward small talk. Engage as much or as little as you like.
We meet at various locations in Melbourne, libraries, parks, and community spaces. You can read more about Silent Book Club Melbourne at https://linktr.ee/silentbookclubmelbourne.

"An introversion party is three people sprawled on couches and pillows, reading and occasionally talking"
