What we’re about
This POR Meetup began as an outdoor and street rollerblading group that quickly migrated to FB where the main events are posted. The Meetup page became a mirror of the FB events, but now its time for the Meetup POR to re-claim its identity.
Despite over 3,000 members on FB and 800 on Meetup the skaters on wheels numbers have remained fairly steady,
The skating agenda can always be found on the FB group page. You'll need to 'join group' from the main FB page.
The Meetup page will focus more on social (and skating) meetups. The Monday night MMM - Magic Moves Monday will remain posted here as its mainly a social event and is always in the same place.
The annual costume skates will also be posted. Christmas, Halloween, Onesie skate etc.
I (Mike ) am working 2:1 FIFO so will post a social Meetup at a location where skating can happen. The focus though, is to meet other people who are skaters, interested, or wanting to be interested. Summer is coming, so a BBQ at Lake Monger is a good example of socializing and skating.
Even regular skate rink nights rotating between Rollerdrome (Morley), Rollerzone (Malaga), Rollerrama (Kalamunda) and Rolloways (O'Connor) will be posted.
If you are a skater and/or a good social organizer message me. You can organize Meetups while I am away of site, so no need to wait 3 weeks !!!
