What we’re about
Come join us to gain competence and confidence in the art of speaking and leading in a friendly and supportive club environment whilst having fun with a group of like-minded people!
Who are we?
We are more than 20 speaking clubs from northern GC, west to Tamborine and south to Murwillumbah. Our clubs are part Toastmasters International, a not-for-profit educational organisation that has been active more than 90 years with more than 16,000 clubs represented in 143 countries around the world (https://www.toastmasters.org/about/all-about-toastmasters).
What we do?
Our purpose is support members develop the skills of speaking and leading, through hands-on practical experience underpinned by the global Toastmasters Pathways Educational Program (https://www.toastmasters.org/pathways-overview).
Can anyone visit?
Members are from all walks of life and vocations, united by a similar desire to improve and be more effective communicators. Guests are most welcome to visit a club meeting, are always warmly received, have fun and a few laughs observing our meetings, and do not have to speak unless you choose to.
What is the cost?
It would be difficult to find a better value personal and professional development program on the planet than Toastmasters. Member dues average out to a weekly cost similar to that of a cup of your favourite brew!
