We are Washington’s premier organization for internationally-minded professionals who enjoy international cultural experiences. In partnership with over 80 embassies, along with museums and other cultural organizations in Washington DC, we present a variety of private cultural and networking events for our membership in the DC area. Our events are presented with the goal of helping members share cultural experiences and meet likeminded individuals. Join us to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and dance the night away under the stars after salsa dance lessons at the rooftop of the Ven at Embassy Row, Washington DC’s premiere boutique hotel in the heart of Dupont Circle.
Enjoy a memorable evening of networking and socializing as you enjoy our Cinco de Mayo celebration under the stars with dancing to a Latin band with the Washington skyline as a spectacular backdrop.Enjoy cocktails and other drinks available for purchase as you enjoy a night of dancing and socializing under the stars. The evening starts with salsa lessons followed by dancing to a Latin band performing sounds of Havana. Reserve your tickets now, as space is limited.
As you meet other guests, enjoy mojitos (while supplies last!) and other drinks available for purchase while you take in the rooftop’s relaxed ambiance. Join us at 7:00 PM to relax and meet other guests as we show you how to dance salsa or join us after 8:00 PM to dance to a Latin band under the stars. After the sunset, experience an evening of music as you dance to our Latin band playing sounds of Havana. If you sign up for the salsa lessons, please make sure that you arrive by 7:00 PM.

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled and any tickets purchased can be transferred towards attending a future event organized by us. Please check the event description for the event at https://www.internationalclubdc.com at 5PM on the day of the event for rain date policy announcements in the event of inclement weather.All ticket sales are final. No Refunds. Purchase of tickets constitutes your acceptance that In the event of inclement weather, you will receive an event credit towards attending a future event. If the event is postponed due to weather or other situation beyond our control, you can transfer your reservation towards attending any future similar event organized by the International Club of DC. No refunds will be offered due to a weather related event postponement but the amount paid can be applied towards any future event organized by us.
No Refunds
Kindly note by purchasing a ticket, you accept responsibility to arrive for the event on time. Due to expenses incurred, we are unable to offer refunds if you are unable to attend the event for any reason. Purchase of tickets for the event constitutes your acceptance of our no-refund policy. Event details are subject to change as we continue to refine the event.Tickets will be released to the person who purchased the tickets upon presenting photo ID. If you purchased more than one ticket, please arrive for admission with your guest(s).

7:00 PM Admission Commences for guests who signed up for the salsa lessons.
Enjoy a salsa lesson prior to dancing. If you purchase a ticket for the salsa lessons, please make sure that you arrive by 7:00 PM, as the lessons ends around 8:00 PM.
After 8:00 PM enjoy an evening of networking and socializing under the stars with music by a Latin band.

The Embassy Row Hotel is conveniently located at DuPont Circle just a block from Metro. Limited valet parking is also available on a first-come basis.Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
