What we’re about
Edmonton is a city of people who have moved here and, unfortunately, there aren't many places for LGBT people to connect, outside of the traditional "bar" scene. We are forming an LGBTQ (and friends!) meetup, where we go out dancing, play board games, organize outdoor adventures, take dogs for walks, drink cocktails and craft beer. - 💸 Cost: 🎟️ $10 lesson | 🎓 $5 for students (online) | FREE social after class (open to all, just grab a food/drink item!)

- 🚪 4:00-6:30 pm: Come early for dinner and drinks at our beautiful venue.
- 👩🏫 6:30-8:00 pm, Dance Lesson: Beginner friendly bachata dance lesson to get you started. We will include intermediate level content for our more experienced attendees.
- 💃 8:00-10:00 pm, Social Dancing: After the lesson, dance the night away with a mix of Sensual Bachata, Modern Bachata, Traditional Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba, UrbanKiz, and Brazilian Zouk.
Additional Information:
- 🙌 No Partner Needed: We rotate partners throughout the night, so you can come solo and still have a fantastic time.
- 👍 Support the Venue: Help us keep booking great venues by supporting with food and drink purchases.
- 👟 What to Wear: Dress comfortably and appropriately for dancing. Latin dance shoes are recommended but not required.
- 🛡️ Safety and Inclusivity: This is a safe space for everyone. Do as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and enjoy the welcoming community.
