Welcome Happy Walkers!!!
This group is for those looking to get together outdoors and improve their health and fitness through attending regular easy pace yet challenging walks while enjoying the spectacular natural scenery that Sydney has to offer!
Our urban and bushwalks average under 20km at an easy 3km/h average pace so we can take photos and chat!
Walks are graded according to the difficulty of the terrain and access to exit points. Bushwalking is a skill. Members are responsible for assessing their own fitness and experience level before attending an event. All members are responsible for exercising duty of care for themselves & others. Be conservative for safety!
Grade 1: Easy urban walk mostly along footpaths with EXIT POINTS, easy climbs.
Grade 2: Easy/Medium bushwalk usually with EXIT POINTS, including easy/medium climbs or natural obstacles.
Grade 3: Medium difficulty bushwalk usually with NO EXIT POINTS, moderately difficult climbs.
Grade 4: Medium/Hard bushwalk usually with NO EXIT POINTS, including medium/hard climbs or natural obstacles.
Grade 5: Hard off track bushwalking usually with NO EXIT POINTS, including very hard (steep) climbs (Group Size Limit: 20).
Anyone and everyone from all walks of life are welcome to join. All members are welcome to suggest any group walk on any day they would like organized!
ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE NOTIFICATIONS TURNED ON IN THEIR SETTINGS TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF EVENT UPDATES, CHANGES OR COMMENTS AND PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK EVENT DETAILS THE NIGHT BEFORE!

NOTE: Please ensure you abide by physical distancing rules and wear a mask on public transport. If you are feeling unwell or unfit please stay home! Limit of 30 people only for safety so please only RSVP if 100% committed to attend! There is no excuse for not updating your RSVP in a timely manner for those on the waitlist to be able to attend. Accumulative NO-SHOW`S, late cancellations and members who display disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour will will be banned from the group. Members who show up for events inadequately packed with essential supplies will not be allowed to attend the event for their own health and safety.
By joining Easy Pace Adventures (EPA) hosted by Meetup and participating in our events, you are asserting that you understand the risks involved and that you are assuming responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing during any of the events.
By signing up for an EPA event you agree that you have read and understood the terms below. If you join us for a walk or any other event, please understand that you are responsible for your own preparedness and wellbeing and will hold no one else liable in case of injury or other mishap.
Bushwalking is an inherently risky activity. The risks include but are not limited to changes in the weather, hazardous terrain, animal attacks, falls, falling objects, failure of critical equipment and injury from physical exertion. Travelling to a wilderness area involves additional risks such as medical assistance not being available. By participating you agree not to hold the event organizers or fellow participants liable for any injury or damage to personal property as a consequence of these inherent risks.
Your health and safety is our priority and we take care to minimize risk and avoid accidents and injuries. However, Organizers and Hosts are not responsible for your health and safety and do not accept any liability for accidents and injuries that may occur during Meetup activities and events. Please take responsibility for your own health and safety and belongings.
By participating in EPA events you agree not to hold other participants or the organizers liable for negligence, oversight or any other mistakes on their part. By participating in EPA events you agree not to hold the organizer or any other participants responsible for any injuries, mishaps or any unforeseen situation that may occur on an EPA event. You are responsible to research the event, including thoroughly reading the host's description of the event prior to attending and for knowing your own capability to participate in the event and bringing the proper gear.
Easy Pace Adventures does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals who may participate in any one of our events which are organized by one of our volunteer organizers.
If you decide to share a vehicle ride with organisers or other members of Easy Pace Adventures you do so at your own risk. These rides are not to be considered commercial services, but considered carpooling by friends, who agree to share all travel costs.
By signing up to EPA or one of its events you understand that you are attending all events at your own risk. Organizers of this group just organise the events and we walk together as a group of friends. There are no qualified outdoor instructors or guides on our events and you are therefore responsible for your own safety and wellbeing at all times.
By RSVPing to any event hosted by the Easy Pace Adventures meetup group, you and your guests agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined above.
