Join us at Fort Washington, to help support the growth of native flowers in our Butterfly Garden and flowerbeds. We'll being weeding, tidying the paths, spreading mulch, and planting new blossoms. We'll provide tools and gloves, so grab a trowel and lend a hand!

Meeting Location: Flourtown Day Use Area, 44 West Mill Rd, Flourtown, PA 19031
For the past four years now, Fort Washington has been reestablishing the tree canopy around the park. This spring, we will be planting eleven saplings the Flourtown Day Use Area. We will also be giving some TLC to the lovely pollinator flowerbeds around the rest-station. So come on out and help us bark up the right trees. Tools, gloves, and water refills provided (but bring your own bottle).

- Vintage Baseball Game at French Creek State ParkFrench Creek State Park, Elverson, PA
Join us and our friends at Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site as we duke it out against the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia for the second year in a row! Last year's nail biter ended with a score of 13 to 12, Athletic Baseball club victory.
Join us this year for two, 7 inning games. The second game will consist of you, the fans!
Come out and enjoy the day, grab a hot dog, and root for your local State and National Park! Bring your own chair.

Join park naturalist and avid birder Rob Bergstresser for some weekend birding! We'll enjoy some bird-friendly, certified organic, shade-grown coffee before heading out on the trails in search of migrating birds. This is the perfect time of year to view some of the early migrating songbirds! Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, but a limited number of binoculars are available for loan during the program. *Rain will cancel the program. We will be meeting at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) for this program.
***Dogs are not allowed on this hike, or any hike that involves viewing birds.
