Spring Tune up Ben Avery Pistol Range F

The class covers the four universal gun safety rules, proper handling, proper loading/unloading, presentation from the holster, grip and stance, sight alignment, sight picture and trigger control. You will engage threat targets and deliver a controlled pair to the thoracic cavity, as well as learn shot placement for a proper cranial ocular cavity shot (headshot). You will also learn the procedure to engage multiple threats as well as engage a hostage taker in a home invasion situation. All exercises are always conducted with strict safety procedures in place.

You will need your full or compact-size sidearm and at least two magazines for the class. Pocket pistols are not allowed. A holster for said sidearm is worn at the hip, and a magazine carrier and a belt are used to secure the holster. No cross draw, shoulder holsters or tactical thigh rigs. Serpa-type holsters with button lock retention are also not allowed. We can disable them temporarily for class. A sturdy belt is required for securing your holster. No open-toed shoes or sandals are permitted on the range. Eye and hearing protection and 150 rounds of ammo will be needed for the class. If you need any equipment such as firearms, holsters or magazine carriers, please contact me in advance of the class. There is no extra charge for equipment. Let me know if you need ammo. It is available at a little less than street prices with no tax.
