This Meetup Group is for Anyone & Everyone in and around the Downtown LA area that is looking for a steady stream of events and activities to do on their free time or nights when nothing seems to be happening. You can expect some of the best events happening in Downtown LA to be posted here.

Join our Meetup on an epic adventure packed with ancient vibes, breathtaking views, and some solid "Wait, how did they build that?" moments.
We’re kicking things off at Petra—yes, that Petra (cue Indiana Jones theme). Rock-carved buildings and mysterious desert vibes.
Then, it’s off to Wadi Rum. Pretty much this is Mars on Earth. We will even visit to the location where "The Martian" was filmed. We will spend the night in a dinkum Bedouin camp and feel like Lawrence of Arabia (also filmed there).
Float like a cork in the Dead Sea.
In Amman we explore the ancient Roman ruins of Jerash, where you can imagine life before modern technology.Then . . . Egypt!!! We start with Cairo . . Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx, The Grand Egyptian Museum, Coptic Churches and the ancient Khan Al-Khalili bazaar
The journey continues with . . a luxury Nile cruise. We sail down the Nile and visit temples at Aswan, Kom Ombo, and Luxor. Along the way we also explore Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the colossal temples of Karnak and Luxor. You will even have the opportunity for a hot air balloon ride over the temples of Egypt or Wadi Rum. . . or both!!
