Hi everyone, Happy New Year! I’m excited to announce the birth of “Dim Sum Queen”. I have a deep love for food, especially dim sum, as it is an important part of our Chinese culture. For many Chinese people, dim sum is akin to the Western concept of breakfast.
My fond memories of my grandma having dim sum every morning are still fresh in my mind. She would always invite me along and let me order whatever I wanted. Some people liken dim sum to tapas because it is served in small dishes, often presented in baskets. Over time, dim sum has evolved into something more akin to art, with creative offerings like duckling buns, handbag dumplings, and panda baos.
To kick off 2025, I am planning a dim sum tour in the Lower Mainland. Whether it's an economical option or a luxurious experience, I aim to organize events in Richmond, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, and Langley. Having dined at numerous dim sum restaurants in the world, I proudly earned the nickname “Dim Sum Queen.” I’m excited to share this experience with everyone in YVR and hope to see you at one of the events!
