Desi Karaoke and Entertainment (DKE)

The actor popularly known as "Bharat Kumar" because he used to produce many super hit patriotic movies, sadly passed away recently, Yes, we are referring to Manoj Kumar.

Let's play tribute to Manoj Kumar by dedicating songs sung, not just by his character in his movies but by anyone in Manoj Kumar movies. That'll open up up many songs for female singers including all time favorites like Lag Ja Gale, Hai Hai Yeh Majboori among many other.

The ICC Music Club meets once a month in ICC Milpitas, usually on the 4th Friday. It is an Open Mic event and entry is free for ICC members and non-members.

After a long absence due to the Pandemic, DKE held its monthly Karaoke, Dinner, and Dancing evening. Attendees loved it. We had a fun time.

The DKE monthly Karaoke, Dinner, and Dancing evening will be held at the Shubham Halls in Sunnyvale, CA off Lawernce Expy. We are excited to announce that we will be holding a DKE event every 3rd Thursday, 6-11 PM at Shubham Halls. We are thrilled to invite our DKE members to our monthly events.

We have priced the musical evening at $20 US. Our attendees say it is worth every penny, consisting of a sumptuous dinner, singing among friends, and dancing with friends. Each evening is a memorable party.

You save $5 by RSVP and paying $20 online the day before the event. The event fee is an entry price for every attendee irrespective of attending or singing the partial or entire event.

There will be 25 singing slots assigned on a first come first serve basis. We advise attendees to prepare their items for the event and entertain the audience. Please experiment and practice at home.

Some basic but important rules:

1. When taking a picture or video please follow the privacy laws. We advise not posting on any social media. However, you can share among DKE members only. Organizers may share a limited number of pics or video clips to promote the DKE events only.

2. No promotional announcement except that of DKE-related events. Ask organizers to promote your event on the DKE Meetup platform.

3. The dress code is semi-formal instead of casual attire.

4. Absolute 100% mutual respect; no rude behavior towards anyone.
