Hi friends. DSM Web Geeks typically posts news about our upcoming events on our own blog at www.dsmwebgeeks.com. However, we've heard a lot of our members were on Meetup.com so we thought we'ed give it a shot.
DSM Web Geeks is a community for web developers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts interested in learning new skills in web trends and technologies.
Our events are held on the second Monday of every month, and (sometimes) one Wednesday a month. The format varies between lecture style, round table discussion, and "hackathon". Our lunch events are hosted by our generous partners like Happy Medium, Blue Compass, and Source Allies.
You can become a Web Geek if you're interested in anything related to web development. Common topics we focus on are JavaScript frameworks, project management, mobile development, web design, etc. If we aren't talking about a topic you enjoy let us know and we'll incorporate it into our next event.

Join us for the DSM May Meetup on Monday, May 12th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Source Allies for a presentation from Adrian Miller, who will be sharing the story behind "Jucie"—a visual web engine that turns mockups into live, working apps.
In his talk, "From Mockups to Makers: Building Jucie," Adrian will explore the philosophy and architecture behind a tool designed to close the gap between design and development. Jucie combines real-time visual programming, state management, and actual code into one creative workflow. It's not just about building faster—it's about building differently.
Adrian will also share lessons learned while creating a tool that challenges the traditional handoff between designers and developers, aiming instead for a more unified, maker-friendly approach.
Food and drinks will be provided, and the event will also be streamed live on Twitch (twitch.tv/dsmwebgeeks) for those who can't make it in person.
