Movement Golden First Sunday climb

One of the best parts of climbing is finding your community, and the Golden Meetup Group and Movement Golden is excited to welcome you to the Family!

Hosted by Jacqui StGermain and Syd Sexton, the Golden Meetup Group is a friendly and fun environment open to climbers of all levels.

Join us the first Sunday of the month for a climbing session for ages 16+.

Reservations are encouraged as space is limited.

When: 1st Sunday of the month at 9:00 am

Where: Movement Golden 700 Golden Ridge Road, Golden Colorado 80401

Cost: Free for members or first time visitors to a Movement gym ( restrictions apply).

Meetup FAQ’s
We are a monthly event where you can meet new people to climb with, share adventures, and learn from your peers.
Wherever you are in your climbing journey, First timer to seasoned Rock Rat, you will find someone that shares your passion.

Open to anyone 16 or older-we always have a varied mix of ages and abilities. We celebrate diversity and welcome all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, disabilities, and beyond.

We welcome ALL abilities. You are welcome to come climb, but you are required to pass a belay check before you can belay someone.

If you have never climbed before, we suggest taking the Intro to Climbing class.

Jacqui has over 45 years of climbing experience, and has been running 2 meetup events at Movement Golden for over 6 years.

Syd has been climbing in and assisting Jacqui in managing the meetups, as well as volunteering with First Descents for over 8 years.
