What we’re about
Welcome to your new writing group! Denver Writers Workshop supports writers of fiction, fantasy, memoir and more, and is dedicated to the art of creative writing and the growth and improvement of the literary community.
We've met bi-weekly, since 2008, sharing exercises, workshops and occasional guest speakers. Several alum are now successfully-published authors.
We host activities every Thursday, including twice-monthly workshops, writers forums and a book club. All genres of writing are welcome. Attendance is always free.

Welcome Writers! On May 8, we'll workshop a 10,000-word selection by Vaughn, and share our writing. The writing prompt for 5/8 is to craft a 500-word comedy. Read the workshop piece beforehand; email feedback if you'd like. Download stories HERE.
