5th Annual Giro D'Fruita (3 nights)

The Kick-off Dinner is Monday 4/28. Ride days will be 4/29, 4/30, 5/1.

Most rides will be at a blue/intermediate level with moments of green and black mixed in. We will ride what we can and walk what we can't. Tradition has been to ride, in daily order: Mary's Loops; then Rabbit Valley; then 18 Road. GJ and options exist!

Rides will be posted individually by different ride leaders over the next few months. Ride leaders, please include in your description whether e-bikes are allowed, where you are headed for beers/dinner afterward, your phone number and what you are driving.

If you led a ride or an event last year, feel free to post whatever you have in mind for this year. Don't worry about overlapping with another event. Expect to see rides in Moab, Fruita and GJ. If you want to be a ride/event leader this year but have not led one in the past, reach out and let Mark Smith and/or Mark Spoor what you have in mind.

Ride participants should be group members and have RSVP'd to the individual ride events. This includes guests of group members.

We will not limit attendance for our rides but will need multiple ride leaders when we have big groups. Please let the ride leader know if you are willing to co-lead.

Attendance for the whole 8 days is not required. Join us on the locations and days that make sense for you.

You are welcome to bring your Class 1 E-MTB, but be aware that some areas still do not allow them. Although unlikely, you could be called out by fellow riders or park authorities. Please do not bring E-Bikes that are not classified as Mountain Bikes. I have seen firsthand that these bikes can be dangerous on these trails because of their weight and substandard brakes and suspension.
