About us
The American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization dedicated to people who believe sewing is a rewarding and creative activity, and we advance sewing as an art and life skill. We have monthly neighborhood meetings, city-wide meetings with national speakers, and special interest groups that meet regularly. We sew, we quilt, we create, and we laugh and learn together! All skills levels are welcome and there's always someone to help you when you get stuck. Come check us out - you can come twice for free and then we believe you'll want to join.

ASG Denver Chapter South General Meeting, Littleton Museum, Sat. May 2, 10-3:00
Littleton Historical Museum and Farm, 6028 S. Gallup St., Littleton, CO, USHi everyone. This month we have a great experience planned that will be at the Littleton Historical Museum. Saturday, May 2nd is their "Sheep to Shawl" Event. Lots of fun demonstrations scheduled throughout the day. We will plan to meet at the front entrance at 10:00. This is all self-guided and you can attend any or all of the demonstrations. This is both an 1860s and 1890s working farm, and has been there for close to 60 years. I know because my family home is just on the outskirts of the property and I spent a lot of my childhood playing at the lake.
Check out the link below to see all the events. There will be shearing, dying, weaving, and more. The museum itself has some great displays inside where you can sit down and cool off if needed. Public restrooms available. Easy parking and flat terrain. Come enjoy the day. Bring your kids along, too. The other farm animals are very interesting--besides the sheep and probably lambs now, peacocks, chickens, a bull used to be there (?), and pigs. It's a little "stinky", but it's a FARM!
WHEN: Sat. May 2nd Events are 10:00-3:00
Bring a drink and a sack lunch or snack if you prefer.
