What we’re about

Welcome to the Denver South Platte River Trail Biking Meetup!

This group is open to riders of all levels—whether you're a casual cyclist or an experienced biker, there's a place for you here. We'll be exploring the scenic South Platte River Trail, along with some great adjacent bike routes.

Our usual meetup spot is at Grant Frontier Park (just south of Evans on the trail), where we'll set off together toward the Aspen Grove shopping area for lunch or head to the Chatfield Reservoir Dam overlook. The round trip will be around 20 to 25 miles, with plenty of time for breaks and socializing along the way.

We often stop for lunch at Panera, grab a coffee at Nixon's (right on the trail), or enjoy a cold drink at Breckenridge Brewery—so expect a fun, laid-back ride with a mix of exercise and good conversation. We will generally ride mid-week, starting late morning/early afternoon. Our rides will take around 2 hours including time for social interaction.

The main goal of this group is to have a relaxed ride and enjoy some social time together—whether it's sharing a meal, having a drink, or simply chatting along the way. We encourage a friendly, open vibe, so please join us if you're looking to meet new people in a fun, social setting.

Come for the ride, stay for the friendships! Let's explore Denver on two wheels, stay active, and connect with fellow cyclists. We can't wait to see you on the trail!
