DBQ at Comrade Brewing Company

For our late May meetup, we will be heading to Comrade Brewing! This is one of organizer Mike's favorite breweries in the Denver area, and if you like traditional, west-coast style IPAs, you will not be disappointed.

Now celebrating 11 years in business, Comrade quickly established themselves with their flagship beer, the Superpower IPA. Ever since, they continue to experiment and innovate with their popular Honeyman series of beers, which as of this writing, is up to their 66th iteration. Comrade has taken home multiple medals from GABF, including Small Brewing Company of the Year in 2019.

While heavy on IPA and Pale Ales, Comrade also offers a tasty selection of stouts (including the highly regarded Quit Stalin), lager-styles (including the "Quick Fill Pilz" pilsner), and others ales.

Comrade also frequently brews collaboration beers with other well-known breweries, such as Woods Boss, Cannonball Creek, and La Cumbre (out of Albuquerque, NM). Fingers crossed one of these tasty collabs will be on tap late May!
