Willkommen bei der Wiesbaden R User Group! 🎉

Wir sind eine Meetup-Gruppe, die sich voll und ganz der Statistiksoftware R widmet. Unsere Community richtet sich an alle, die sich für Datenanalyse, Statistik und Data Science mit R begeistern – vom Anfänger bis zum Profi. Bitte beachte, dass unsere Treffen einen klaren Fokus auf R haben und wir uns nicht als allgemeine soziale Plattform verstehen.

Unsere Veranstaltungen im Jahr 2025:
In diesem Jahr haben wir vier spannende Online-Events auf dem Programm, die alle in englischer Sprache über Zoom stattfinden:

• (hat bereits stattgefunden) 11. März 2025: flextable: Functions for Tabular Reporting, Microsoft Tables, von David / Autor zahlreicher Pakete im officeverse
• September 2025 (der genaue Termin wird noch bekannt gegeben): R und AI: Wo ist der Einsatz von AI hilfreich; welche Pakete gibt es; wie kann ich mit REST API ansteuern; wie kann Ressourcen wie clinicaltrials.org oder pubmed in R für Studien mittels AI nutzbar machen etc.
• November 2025 (der genaue Termin wird noch bekannt gegeben): Deployment – Deploying von R Apps. Wir haben im masem research institute GmbH masem.ai nun zahlreiche R Anwendungen als Apps entwickelt und in unserem App-Store deployed (natürlich auch lokal, je nach Kundenwunsch). Hier wollen wir euch zeigen, wie das geht, was die Fallstricke sind, Hinweise zu Best Practices etc.)

Welcome to the Wiesbaden R User Group! 🎉

We are a Meetup group that is fully dedicated to the statistical software R. Our community is aimed at everyone who is enthusiastic about data analysis, statistics and data science with R - from beginners to professionals. Please note that our meetings have a clear focus on R and we do not see ourselves as a general social platform.
Our events in the year 2025:

This year we have four exciting online events on the program, all taking place in English via Zoom:

• (has already taken place) March 11, 2025: flextable: Functions for Tabular Reporting, Microsoft Tables, by David / author of numerous packages in officeverse
• September 2025 (exact date to be announced): R and AI: Where is the use of AI helpful; what packages are available; how can I target with REST API; how can resources like clinicaltrials.org or pubmed in R be made usable for studies using AI, etc.?
• November 2025 (the exact date will be announced): Deploying R Applications. At masem research institute GmbH masem.ai, we have now developed numerous R applications as apps and deployed them in our app store (also locally, of course, depending on customer requirements). Here we want to show you how this works, what the pitfalls are, tips on best practices, etc.).
