=== ABOUT US ===
We are a mixed and diverse group of passionate open and cold water swimmers. We are going out of town by car to swim all year through. In winter usually at Liepnitzsee, sometimes Stechlin. In summer we also do after-work tours and discover new lakes all around Berlin/Brandenburg.
=== WHO CAN JOIN ===
All genders, ages and nationalities welcome. You just need to be passionate about swimming and open for a nice time with others.
From May to September, all levels are welcome. From October to April, for safety reasons, we do not take open/cold water beginners.
=== HOW TO JOIN THIS GROUP ===
When requesting membership you will be asked five questions. Please answer these properly.
=== SAFETY RULES ===
• Know your limits. Act within reason. Stay humble.
• No competition inside the group. Everybody does his/her pensum. We do not compete about who is the most hardcore swimmer.
• Bring all you need to warm yourself up after the swim.
• No Wim Hof supporters. If you seriously believe that breathing excersises make you immune to loosing body temeperature, we are sorry to say that this group is not for you.
=== NO-SHOW POLICY ===
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy on no-shows and last-minute cancellations. If you RSVP and don't show up, you will be removed from the group. If your plans change, please cancel early enough to make your seat available for someone else.
=== WHAT ELSE TO KNOW ===
• We will share cost for fuel and parking fees. Please bring cash.
• Please bring everything you need (in particular hot drinks, food and all you need to warm up).
• Participation is on your own responsibility.
