Our adventure begins in Zwingenberg and we will proceed on narrow trails through the forest and hillside along the Neckar. As we progress through the thicket we will pass small rivulets and a small pond. Later on, the castle ruin Stolzeneck offers the opportunity for a rest in a historic atmosphere. From here, we will hike towards Eberbach, our destination for this trip. The overall length is about 14.5 km.
The easiest way to the meeting point is by train (S1). Departure time in MA is at 9:38 AM track 11 and HD at 9:55 AM track 7. The train will arrive at 10:36 AM at Zwingenberg.
