Hi Everyone!

Update 28.04: Only for this time we will start with the event at 17:30. We start with the registrations at 17:30 and with the Sprachcafe at 18:00 so we can by done by 19:30!

We’ll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House, on Mondays and Wednesdays!

On Mondays, we will host levels from A1 to B1, and on Wednesdays from B1 to C1, with dedicated materials tailored to each level. Everyone will have a place to practice and improve! 😊
The event is scheduled to start in the app at 18:00, but the language exchange will officially begin at 18:30 and run until 20:10.

Important Update
The Sprachcafé has a participation fee of 5.5€, which helps cover organizational costs and includes one soft drink for free. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Denizen’s website or directly on the day of the event.

As the Sprachcafé has become very popular, we now need to limit the number of participants. Please understand this measure; it ensures that everyone has a comfortable space to practice.
We kindly ask you to be rücksichtsvoll and only RSVP "Yes" if you’re certain you can attend. If your plans change at the last minute, please update your RSVP so someone on the waiting list can take your spot. Getting your ticket in advance can assure you a spot!

Update for 30.04: Only for this time we will have a shorter Sprachcafe. We will start at 17:30 with the registrations and at 18:00 with the Sprachcafe and we're gonna be done by 19:00!

Let's meet up every week on Wednesday and practice Deutsch together at Denizen House, Köpenicker Str. in Kreuzberg.

We are happy to announce a new Tandem Night!

After the success of our previous Sprachyfass events, we’re excited to present our latest edition; this time focusing exclusively on German and French. This event offers a relaxed environment to practice your language skills while meeting new people. Whether you’re improving your German or perfecting your French, Sprachbar – Sprachyfass is the perfect opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with fellow learners and native speakers.

Event Details:

• Location: Sisyfass – Wildenbruchstr. 7, 12045 Berlin
• Time: From 19:00 – Open End (music will follow from 22:00 on)
• Fee: Free participation – but don’t forget to grab a drink at the bar to support the venue
• Host: The event will be hosted by Laura!

How It Works:

• Focused on German and French – all levels are welcome, with a target range of A2–B1.
• Participants are grouped by proficiency to ensure comfortable conversations.
• Regular rotations give everyone the chance to meet new people and practice both languages.

FAQs:

1. I’m interested in practicing German/French but don’t speak the other language. Can I still participate?
   Yes, you’re welcome to join even if one language is stronger for you. However, the goal is to create a tandem environment between German and French, so it’s ideal if you have some knowledge of both.
2. My proficiency isn’t very high, but I’d like to participate. Is this event suitable for me?
   Absolutely! This event is all about practicing and connecting, so all skill levels are encouraged. Just keep in mind that the focus is on German and French.
3. Is there a fee to attend?
   No, the event is free. However, purchasing a drink at the bar helps support the venue, and we encourage everyone to enjoy the cozy atmosphere with a drink or two!

Berlin Lingua Hub’s Afterwork Cultural Picnic is back! Twice a month, we’ll meet at Monbijou Park for a relaxed evening of good conversations, new connections, and cultural exchange.

What’s the idea?
We keep it simple: bring your favorite drinks or snacks, enjoy a laid-back picnic, and connect with people from all over the world. Whether you’re new in Berlin or have been here for years, this is a great way to meet interesting people in a relaxed atmosphere.

What about languages?
This is not a structured Sprachcafé, but since Berlin Lingua Hub is all about languages and cultural exchange, you’ll naturally find people speaking different languages. Feel free to practice, mix languages, or simply enjoy great conversations in any language you’re comfortable with.

When & Where?
📍 Monbijou Park – Meeting point is at the west right corner of the park, alongside the Oranienburger Str. You'll see some Berlin Lingua Hub signs.
🕡 From 17:00 onwards – open-end, stay as long as you like

Since this is an outdoor event, it’s weather-dependent. If any changes happen, we’ll update you on the same day.
