Do you like portrait photography? Do you need new portrait pictures for dating apps, your business resume, or something else?
If the answers to these questions are YES, join our new event formula, "Portray and be portrayed!".
Event formula:
As a participant, you will play both roles during the event: photographer and model. Don't come if you don't want your photos taken by others!
The model role will be rotational, and there will be only one active model at a time.Similar to our group TFP events, we will work in groups of 3-5 people, and every group will be led by one of the ISO Club's seasoned portrait photographers.

We meet at 13:00 at the western entrance to the S-Bahn Grunewald.

Let’s explore one of the most iconic locations in Germany: Rakotzbrücke, also known as the Devil’s Bridge!

Built in 1860, this manmade bridge is renowned for its perfect arch, creating a circle when reflected in the water below. Rakotzbrücke is located in the picturesque Rhododendronpark Kromlau near Gablenz, surrounded by vibrant foliage during autumn.
Join us on this exciting adventure to capture the beauty of this extraordinary site with your camera. This trip promises breathtaking photos, unforgettable moments, and a chance to immortalize the Devil’s Bridge in our next ISO Club Zine.Location This event will take place at Rakotzbrücke in Rhododendronpark Kromlau. Most people visit this stunning location on a day trip from Berlin.
Starting point We will start our journey from Berlin Hauptbahnhof at 11:00 am and travel together via train to Weißwasser. From there, we will take a 1-hour walk to the bridge through scenic trails.(You need a Deutschticket or buy the train ticket in advance)
Schedule
11:00 am: Meet at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station)
2:30 pm: Arrive at Rakotzbrücke and begin exploring and photographing the area
5:30 pm: Begin the walk back to Weißwasser
7:00 pm: Board the return train to BerlinStructure Once we arrive at Rakotzbrücke, we will split into smaller groups to capture different angles and perspectives.
We'll regroup at 5:00 pm for a brief feedback session and group photo.
Please stay until the end to receive the final instructions on how to submit your photos for publication in the ISO Club Zine.Food During the Trip
Since this event involves hiking and extended time outdoors, we recommend bringing your own snacks, lunch, and water. There won’t be dining facilities near Rakotzbrücke, so be sure to pack enough to keep you energized throughout the day.Reel covering this event: If we collect enough photos, this event will be documented by a dedicated Instagram reel containing videos and your photos, and you will be tagged and mentioned.
You have to upload your photos from this event: You must upload at least 3 of your favorite photos to a dedicated thread in our Discord (inside the Urban Photography session), plus as many photos as you can to a dedicated Google Drive folder - these will be used in a dedicated Instagram reel.
Discord: In 2025, all of our events will require you to be a member of our Discord, and this event is no different. At the very least, you must introduce yourself in our #welcome channel. Deposit: To secure your participation in this event, you must transfer a deposit of 5 EUR to the provided PayPal address. This deposit will be fully refunded if you attend the event (you cannot attend the event if you are not on Discord) or submit your cancelation at least 72 hours before.
