This meetup group exists for the sole purpose of casual get-togethers in a friendly environment where everyone feels welcome. Our Meetups are all about meeting people in a laid back and social atmosphere. It doesn't matter if you just want to have a drink with some people, if you want to make new friends or if you like discovering new places to go - this group is for everyone.

This Expat Meetup Group is organized by Culti Group. Culti Group was founded in Amsterdam in late 2008. This group is a decentral organization, which gets organized on mail and social media. Other then "Culti Meetups", "Culti Group" also organizes some Expat Meetups. To us, "Culti" and "'Expat" are just names. We're reaching out to all people with a curious and international mindset.
The aim is the same everywhere: getting and keeping people included in the curious part of the international community in their town. In Barcelona our primary focus is on what expats want - but please make no mistake: everyone is welcome. In order to meet each other, we will meet for drinks in cozy venues on one day - and we will meet for dinner and parties on other days.
Next to Social Meetups and New in Town Meetups, we also do fun daytrips and we bring you the best Comedy in English in Barcelona! At times, we also offer weekendstrips to fascinating cities like Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and Maastricht.

Let's walk around sports park Duisburg Wedau. It's a beautiful place with forest and lakes. And let's practise languages while doing so. We mostly speak English and German, but any language is welcome! If you are looking for someone to practise a particular language with - Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese or whatever - why not write it in the comments? So that native speakers may read it and come along. At the end of the walk, it is up to us if we have a drink somewhere. In summer Micha's Seehütte is an option, in winter for example "Die Insel"..
Just in case someone brings his children: There is also a nice playground nearby.
We meet in front of the entrance of the swimclub DSV98. This is not the entrance to the restaurant, but left of it.
After the walk we usually sit together at Micha's Seehütte, Bertaallee 16 so if you are late and we're already gone, you will find us there.description in German to be shared with German-speaking ( or learning ) friends

General information ( in German )We are a meeting place for women who want to make new friends and expand their circle of acquaintances.
Registration is not necessary. Just drop in, you're welcome!

We speak German and English.P.S. From April to October we will meet outside ( at the Botanical Gardens Duisburg-Duissern ) if the weather allows.
Everyone bringst something to eat and to drink for herself and one other person. We can share if we want to.
That gives us more flexibility, also regaring the number of people who are joining.
