New edition of travel night in Prostor is a story about Lapland told by Nika Rukavina. Save the date: April 25th, 19-20h
Join us for an informal lecture where Nika will share her experiences of spending two months in Lapland, witnessing the dramatic shift from day to night and from spring to winter. Through stories, photos, and reflections, she will explore the unique atmosphere of Tornio, the impact of nature on daily life, and the cultural nuances of living in the North. Come and discover what it means to adapt to the rhythm of Lapland.
Nika Rukavina graduated in sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. She is a member of the HZSU and HDLU Rijeka. She deals with the current problem of social intolerance, discrimination, the influence of the repressive system and environment on individuals who do not accept imposed social consensus. She is one of the winners of the Ivo Kalina Award, the City of Rijeka Award for the best exhibition in 2009 (VIA international project). She exhibited at the 12th TH Award for Contemporary Art at the MSU Zagreb and at numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad.
The event is free and open to everyone, registration is not needed.
