What we’re about
This is a group for autistic adults (18+) living in Cork. The group is open to anyone who identifies as autistic. Self-diagnosis and awaiting diagnosis is okay. The group is inclusive and open to everyone.
It's okay to say Asperger's Syndrome and that you "have autism" although in general the preferred term is "Autistic person".
Note this is not a group for parents of autistic children (unless you are autistic yourself)
The group is LGBTQIA+ friendly. Bigoted speech towards any group isn't acceptable. Nor is personal harassment.
This group has regular monthly in person meetings and sometimes some one off meetups too.
