What we’re about
If you're a lesbian or queer woman interested in having happier, healthier relationships, this Meetup is for you - whether you're currently single, healing from a breakup, dating, in love, or in a long-term relationship. Our classes and gatherings will help you learn the skills to find the right partner, BE the right partner, and create the relationship of your dreams.
We welcome all women who love women - or want to - whether you're lesbian, bi, queer, butch, boi, stud, femme, trans, same-gender-loving, or go by some other label or none at all. We love building community by helping growth-oriented lesbians and queer women connect with one another and support each other in learning how to date wisely and have conscious, healthy relationships.
Our approach blends science, psychology and spirit to help women love women - better. (Our backgrounds are in Neuroscience, Buddhism, Transpersonal Psychology and theology.) Our motto is: relationships don't have to be hard! But having an easy, joyful, fulfilling, lasting love does take having the right tools, and learning the right skills. Our Meetups will help.

Get Your Needs Met (While Loving Well)
A transformational class for lesbians, queer women and adjacent non-binary people! (Cross-posted in many Meetup groups)This introductory class kicks off our 8-week Get Your Needs Met Intensive, which will begin May 10.
Here's my inspiration for creating this class:
I've heard this story so many times, and even lived it.
You do your best to give your girlfriend or partner everything she wants. You go out of your way and put your needs on hold, to try to meet hers.
You think that's what love is, right? Or that's what it takes to be a good partner. Or you're scared that if you don't meet all her needs, she'll leave.
So you give and give, until you're exhausted.
It's hard for you to ask her for what you need. You really wish you didn't even have to ask.
But when you finally do, she gets mad and pulls away.
Or you tell her you need to stop doing some of the many things you've been doing for her, and that causes a problem, too.
So you go back to thinking, "It's not even worth it to ask."
"And it's definitely not okay to ever set a boundary. Obviously, people only love me for what I can do for them."
And somewhere deep inside, you conclude that this is the only way your relationships could ever be. That you're just never going to be able to get your needs met.
But it's not true.
That's why I'm going to teach Get Your Needs Met. (Click the link to sign up and pay your $1.00 Registration Fee. Signing up on Meetup alone won't get you in!)
I believe this series will help you begin to have a new answer to the question, Is it really possible to get your needs met in a relationship?
I look forward to the day when you can answer Yes! from your own lived experience. (It's been a journey for me, and I've learned soooo much which I look forward to sharing.)
We'll be talking about emotional needs and sexual needs, because you deserve it all. And as the author of the Amazon bestseller *Conscious Lesbian Dating & Love, *and someone who has been teaching this stuff in the lesbian/queer community for 11 years, I can help!
By the way, the reason why I titled the class Get Your Needs Met (While Still Loving Well) is that I've seen some over-givers get so sick of that role that they end up getting rigid in the opposite direction -- like, "If you don't meet every single one of my needs all the time, I'm out of here!" And that's not sustainable, either, nor is it love. We'll be talking about the skills involved in helping both people can get their key needs met in our precious lesbian or queer relationships.
This class is sponsored by the Conscious Girlfriend Academy, the leading global resource helping our community date wisely, love well, and prevent heartbreak. Not familiar with us? Check out our many on-demand and live programs and resources here.
If you've been frustrated being single or haven't gotten what you wanted in your relationships, or you're just coming out, we can help. Healthy, fulfilling love is possible for you. I hope you'll take a chance and try our $1.00 class on May 3 to start getting your needs met.

We've created this Queer Spirit offering specifically to address the soul-level challenges many of us are feeling in this difficult time on our planet.
>Our gathering on May 4 is the first of a 16-week series to support you in accessing support from non-physical realms, healing and gaining soul strength and clarity in a powerfully affirming lesbian and queer-centered environment.
How can we best respond to the current crisis?
What is the work your soul calls you to do?
Do those of us who are LGBTQ+ have a special role to play in consciousness?
Did your soul choose to come to earth for this time, and if so, how can you make the fullest use of your time here?
For the first time ever, Conscious Girlfriend Academy Director Ruth Schwartz will be teaching the material from her book Soul On Earth: Living & Loving Your Human Life. The classes build on each other, so please commit to the series to get full benefit.
This series is a mystery school, a "university of the soul." By its end, you'll have a radically different understanding of how to fulfill your purpose on earth. You'll also have a community of fellow Queer Spirit travelers.>Learn more about the Soul on Earth event and pay the $1.00 registration fee here.
(A Meetup RSVP alone won't get you in)This event is being cross-posted in many Meetups, so there will be lots of attendees! It's open to all LGBTQ+ people and our allies. The Queer Spirit/Soul On Earth gathering is sponsored by the Conscious Girlfriend Academy, the leading global resource helping lesbians and queer people date wisely, prevent heartbreak, and love well. >Learn more about the Academy here.
