Cold Water Exposure - improving your health, mood and energy levels!
This is a group for anyone interested in wanting to improve their own life, by focussing on health, mindset and daily habits. Everybody is welcome and we will adjust the workout accordingly to your individual level.
I started this group to help other people to live a healthy life. After having dealt with depression myself and after having dealt with different types of depression in my own family, I discovered how positive daily habits, mindset and exercise can positively influence your life!
During our Workout and Cold Water Exposure we will:
- Have a short introduction on the topic
- Do a warm-up for 10 minutes
- Dip in the cold water and preferably swim for 1-5 minutes, depending on your level of experience(or longer if you can)
- Towel dry, get dressed and do another warm-up
- If brave enough, would be great if you can do a run for 1-2k afterwards (otherwise you can repeat the warm-up once more)
- Being social, cheering everybody on, group hug :)
- For those who wish to donate, receive a recovery hot drink and snack*

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE, that we will take cold water exposure step by step. I dont want you to rush or to go into the cold water for too long in the beginning. Start with a short dip and see how you go. You can slowly build up your tolerance week after week.
Daily hot and cold contrast showers are highly recommend in order to prepare your body for the cold.

This workshop is suitable for everyone, however, we do recommend a basic level of health.
Please be safe, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a doctor before starting cold water exposure.
