City Bathing: A Soulard Pop-Up Walk
Join City Bathing for a unique pop-up experience in the oldest neighborhood in St. Louis—Soulard! This isn't your typical walking tour. City Bathing offers a mindful, immersive way of connecting with the urban environment, fostering a deeper relationship between the city and the dweller.

Overview & Agenda:
We'll begin with a grounding practice in the park, followed by setting a personal intention. From there, we’ll walk slowly and mindfully—engaging our senses and tuning into the subtle layers of the city. The route will take us through the vibrant Soulard Farmers Market, continue past the charming red brick row houses, and return to our starting point for a closing reflection.

• Approximate distance: 1.2 miles
• This walk is slow-paced with pauses for prompts, reflections, and sensory awareness
• Small historical insights are shared along the way to enhance—not distract from—the sensory experience

What to Expect:
This practice welcomes all sensory levels. Along the way, you may encounter crowds, chatter, cobblestones, and other elements of the urban outdoors. We don’t avoid these stimuli—instead, we acknowledge them, sit with them, and learn from whatever feelings may arise.

Details & What to Bring:

• Donation-based event – Suggested $20, accepted via cash or Venmo
• Street parking is available throughout the neighborhood
• Free customer parking is available at the northeast corner of 7th St. & Lafayette (Fridays and Saturdays only)
• We recommend arriving early to find parking and settle in
• Bring water, comfortable walking shoes, and cash if you'd like to shop at the market afterward. Great restaurants are around as well for lunch options.
