The Cincinnati Psychedelic society is a newly formed as part of the Global Psychedelic Society. Around the world, hundreds of Psychedelic Societies meet regularly to provide peer education and support around psychedelics.
Here at the Cincinnati Psychedelic Society, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We promote education and support for those of all experience and interest levels in psychedelics. We are community centered, focused on fostering intentional and healing relationships between members along their journey, as well as intentional service to the local Cincinnati community and nation. We promote consciousness as members of society, and view psychedelics as a meaningful component of the consciousness movement.
We support changes to existing national and international laws and governmental policies which would decriminalize and reschedule psychedelics, allowing for proper research and safe regulated access to stop pushing people into clandestine practices and the risks of the black market and the penal system.
We resolve to change the cultural dialogue surrounding psychedelic substances to accurately reflect what is known, and steer it towards more productive and compassionate conclusions through education and information.
We are committed to creating and fostering an inclusive, harmonious community where all races, genders, gender identities, religions, sexual orientations, ages, and abilities are valued, respected, safe, and empowered.
This IS a group for:
-People who have or have not had experiences with psychedelics, but are interested in learning more
-People who are interested in conscious community building, service, and building a brighter future
-People who have interest, experience, and skills in advocacy, mental health professions, coaching, policy, community organizing, medicine, research, healing modalities, yoga, social impact, legal, nonprofit, business, and other professions that are interested in using their talents to develop the consciousness and psychedelic movement
-People on a healing and/or spiritual journey
This is NOT a group for:
-People who are seeking substances or ceremonies
-People looking for a political debate
