Welcome to our Meetup! We have learned that members are sometimes concerned about what they might be walking into. Just to reassure you, this Meetup is run by Strength Church & we are a Christian Church based in Long Beach, California. We are a small spirit-filled Christian congregation, with loving, diverse members. If you are looking to meet some new friends and quality people and find an exciting Church home, please give us a try.
We have service on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. in Long Beach. We have plenty of parking and it's free. We usually Fellowship after church, including tea, coffee and refreshments, and a nice time to chat and get to know the other members.
Every Thursday is a very special evening for us. We host our wonderful weekly evening Bible study and have a wonderful time sitting with our friends and discussing a very specially chosen series. It is very low-key and relaxing. We start this event at 7 p.m. and we finish by 8:00 p.m. If you can make it, we would love to see you.
We have heard from other members who have joined our church, that MeetUp can have some groups & people practicing things that are not godly or Christian. That is why we like to reach new members and reassure you that Strength Church runs this group & everything that goes on at our events is church-sponsored and safe. Hopefully, this makes you feel a little bit more comfortable about visiting with us and getting to know our wonderful members.
