This event is timed to follow the Bob Stratton Bald Hike. I won't be present at Joyce Kilmer as I'll be hosting Falls Branch Falls Hike at the same time. Joyce Kilmer is 20 miles away from Bob Stratton trailhead.

A 3,800-acre tract of publicly owned old-growth forest in Graham County, North Carolina, named in memory of poet Joyce Kilmer, best known for his poem "Trees". One of the largest contiguous tracts of old growth forest in the Eastern United States.
