✅ Guided Hikes: Each hike has a dedicated walk leader, most often with experience of leading groups ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. However, not all our walk leaders are qualified and although you walk at your own risk, it is thought to be safer walking in groups than individually. Safety

Board our coach for the option of choice of 3 walks .All walks finish at Clapham at 6.00pm cost £15.00.There is an option on this walk for you to spend the day in Clapham maybe do a short walk or walk round Clapham where there are cafes and pubs and interesting shops to wonder round before catching the Coach at 6-pm to return home .

Settle to Clapham

Elevation 2137 ft
Descent 2112 ftThe walk starts in Settle and moves to Moughton Scar ,a stunning ares of Limestone pavement perched above Crummack Dale, and heads towards the Norber Erratics , a surreal and iconic cluster of boulders left behind by the last ice age .
The Limestone pavement at Moughton Scar is extensive and dramatic ,but can be tricky underfoot .
Watch out for grikes ( deep Fissures ) between the clints ( limestone slabs )
The route across Moughton Plateau is exposed and windswept ,offering wide ,views but limited shelter . As you descend towardthe Norber area , the terrain becomes grassy and gentler ,with intermittent Limestone outcrops and scattered boulders .The Norber Erratics are perched on a slope ,with decent trails leading to and around them .
Key Highlights Moughteon Scar is one of the largest areas of Limestone pavement in Britain.
This is Classic Dales ccenery with dty stone walls , isolated barns green pastures far below.You can often see Ingleborough in the distance .
The Norber erratics are a large Silurian gritstone boulders that were carried and dropped by retreating glaciers onto Limestone bedrock .
Some are balanced precariously on small Limestone plinths - natures balancing act! .
We may see wheatears , meadow pipits ,and possibly Curlews as well as spring and summer Spring wildflowers - including rare Limestone specialists like ,thyme ,and blue moor - grass .B: (medium) Wandering thru' Wood Anemones

From Settle we walk down the road cross over the River ,and take footpath on right to Stackhouse ,Smearsett Scar ( trig point ), paths and Bridleway to Feizer Wood & Oxenber Wood ,hopefully see Primroses ,come out of woods path down to Austwick , Path then to Clapham for the end of the walk .C :( easier ) Primroses in profusion

Buck Haw Brow to Clapham
Distance : 7 miles with 725ft of climbing .
We start from the 'old road 'at Buck Haw Brow and follow the bridleway up to Feizor ,then through fields and into Oxenber and Wharfe Woods .The route through the woods takes us along limestone paths ,surrounded by a carpet of beautiful spring flowers : look for Lesser Celandine , wood Anemone , Wood Sorrel ,Primroses ,Wild Violets , Wild Strawberry ,Common Orchids , Cowslips and Bluebells. exiting the woods , we pass Jop Ridding and take Wood Lane into Austwick ,then through the fields to ClaphamD: Do your own short walk or spend the day In Clapham,
Nestling below Ingleborough on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales national Park is the lovely village of Clapham with the 650 year old St James Church .
Wander round Clapham or take a short circular walk .
