Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Gay Social's Noche de Baile; Beginner Latin Dance Night (TIX REQ)Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Chester, Chester, NJ
Gay Social is ready to salsa, bachata, merengue, and hustle—this beginner-friendly class covers all the Latin moves you’ve wanted to try but were too scared to attempt at a wedding. No partner? No experience? No problem. We rotate partners throughout, so you’ll dance with new folks and build confidence step by step.
Closed-toe shoes that let you move are recommended—dance shoes if you’ve got ‘em, but clean-soled sneakers work too. Just bring a second pair to change into so we can keep the floor as fresh as your moves.
Come as you are, and leave with a few new steps (and maybe a little sweat).
🚗 Parking Info: Plenty of street parking on Main Street especially at this time.

- Gay Social's Reading Between the Lines an LGBTQ+ Book ClubHowling Basset Books, Oldwick, NJ
📚 For April’s Reading Between the Lines, we’re reading I Heard Her Call My Name by Lucy Sante—a deeply personal and beautifully written memoir about identity, transition, and self-discovery. With her signature honesty and poetic style, Sante reflects on a life of reinvention and finally living as her true self.
It’s a thoughtful, layered read that invites a rich conversation about gender, time, and what it means to become who you really are.
🚗 Parking is available in the rear of the building at Howling Basset Books.
🎟️ Free to attend, but sign-up is recommended so we can plan accordingly. RSVP HERE
