Carnegie Mellon University has a very renowned music department. Many of you may not be aware that they offer low cost or free concerts throughout the year that are open to the public. Karen had attended several and they have been wonderful. On Saturday February 15th, Carnegie Mellon is offering a Wind Ensemble Concert at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall. The Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble utilizes a flexible instrumentation of winds, brass, and percussion to perform repertoire from standard concert band works to contemporary compositions of various instrumental combinations.

This concert is Free of Charge and is open to the public, but you do have to reserve a ticket as seats are limited. Please go to the Eventbrite website to reserve your free ticket. The program is also listed on the Eventbrite page which can be found at this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/carnegie-mellon-windensemble-tickets-1003073448687?aff=ebdssbdestsearch

Please let Karen know you’ve reserved your ticket and you’ll see her there. Texting is best so text Karen at (843) 384-1176 ksakaluk1216@gmail.com ; that way she’ll know who to look for and how many seats to reserve so everyone can sit together.

** NOTE: There may be more people in attendance than have RSVP'd on Meetup **
