This dynamic class, inspired by the strategies and mindset of the greatest player of all time, Anna Leigh Waters, will provide you with actionable insights and drills to enhance your on-court performance. Drawing directly from a strategy session with Anna Leigh and her coach, Lee Waters, this 2-hour intensive session will focus on key elements that define a champion's game:

• The Strategic Serve: Learn how to develop a targeted and fluid serve that sets the tone for the point. Discover the importance of picking your target before you serve and maintaining a continuous motion for maximum momentum. Understand how Anna Leigh adjusts her serve strategically based on the match situation.

• Mastering the Third Shot Decision: Gain clarity on one of the most critical aspects of pickleball. We'll explore Anna Leigh's approach to deciding between the third shot drop and the drive based on the quality of the return and your court position. Learn how to hit both effectively, including the strategic medium-paced drive.

• Attacking and Counterattacking with Purpose: Embrace an aggressive mindset to create scoring opportunities. Understand how to set up attacks with your shots and how to identify and exploit opponents' weaknesses. Develop your ability to react quickly and counter effectively when under pressure.

• The Mental Edge: Unlock the power of a champion's mindset. Learn Anna Leigh's strategies for staying mentally engaged in every point, the importance of believing in your ability to win, and techniques for managing mistakes and resetting your focus.

Through a combination of insightful discussions, targeted drills, and structured game play, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the strategic nuances of pickleball as demonstrated by one of the sport's elite. This class is designed for pickleball players around a 3.0 level or higher. If you know the rules of the game, positioning and can generally get your serve and return of serve over the net and IN then you should be just fine in this class.

2.75–3.4 Pickleball Skills & Play Clinic (2 Hours)
Ready to level up your game? This two-hour clinic is perfect for players in the 2.75 to 3.4 range who are looking to improve consistency, strategy, and confidence on the court.
Hour 1: Drills & Skill Development
We'll start with a focused hour of drills designed to target the areas that make the biggest difference at this level: consistent dinking, effective volleys, third-shot drops, resets, and smart court positioning. Whether you're working on softening your hands or improving footwork at the kitchen line, this hour is all about intentional reps, quality feedback, and building muscle memory.
Hour 2: Guided Gameplay with Coaching
In the second hour, you'll put those skills to the test during live play. A coach will guide the action—observing, giving real-time tips, and helping you understand when and how to apply the strategies you’ve been practicing. Expect encouragement, tactical advice, and small adjustments that make a big impact.
This clinic is ideal for players who are comfortable with the basics but want to refine their technique, develop smarter court habits, and become more confident partners in both recreational and competitive settings.

We will provide you with a paddle if you do not have one.
It is required that everyone wears comfortable clothes, athletic sneakers and bring water.

8 students Max with 2 coaches. This allows for maximum personal time and tips given to each student.
