Join us for a hike (rain or shine) around the Cooper Mountain Nature Park followed by food and drinks at Taplandia Taphouse afterwards, for those who may be interested. (the distance is a 10 minute drive between the two locations).

About Cooper Mountain Nature Park (18892 SW Kemmer Rd., Beaverton, OR 97007):

Overlooking the Tualatin River Valley, Cooper Mountain Nature Park is nestled between Beaverton and Tigard. The 230-acre park offers visitors 3 1/2 miles of trails that traverse the park and pass through each of its distinct habitats - from conifer forest to prairie to oak woodlands. Visitors will be rewarded with grand views of the Chehalem Mountains, close-up looks at Oregon white oaks and a small prairie that has sat relatively undisturbed for hundreds of years.

Hiking trails are relatively easy with some mild elevation changes. Very family friendly.
