May's urban sketching event will be on Jesus Green. There are lots of local interest - buildings, the river, the lock, etc near to Jesus Green, a lively area where people play sports and chill out. Further along the river the Cambridge rowing clubs have their Sprint Regatta taking place.
We will meet at the 'Kiosk on the Green' - near to the 'Jesus Lock bridge' (Jesus Green) (What3words:///bids.dose.pool) at 11am. Enjoy a couple of hours sketching, then meet back at 1pm for the 'throwdown' to share what we've done.
For those who want to keep sketching through the whole day, there'll be another opportunity to share at 3.30pm. You're welcome to join juts for the 11-1pm slot or for the whole day!
The event is free but does not include food, drink, or art materials. Everyone is welcome whether you've just started to draw or have been a professional artist for many years. We look forward to seeing you there.
