We aim to inspire and empower individuals to make a positive impact on the security and integrity of digital systems, and to contribute to the advancement of technology in a secure and ethical manner.

The individual shall not disclose sensitive or confidential information that constitutes a breach in their current or former employer policies unless consent is provided.

Rules:
1. Arrive on time: Punctuality is key. Arrive at the meetup on time or slightly early to show respect for the organizers and other attendees.
2. Respect personal space: Give individuals their personal space and avoid invading it. Respect personal boundaries and maintain appropriate physical distance.
3. Introduce yourself and network: Take the initiative to introduce yourself to others and engage in meaningful conversations. Be open, friendly, and approachable, making an effort to connect with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
4. Active listening: Pay attention when others are speaking. Maintain eye contact, nod to show understanding, and ask relevant follow-up questions. Avoid interrupting and allow everyone to express their thoughts and ideas.
5. Use inclusive language: Be mindful of the language you use to ensure it is inclusive and respectful to all attendees. Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or derogatory remarks. Treat everyone with equal respect and dignity.
6. Give and receive business cards: Exchange business cards with those you have meaningful conversations with. When receiving a card, take a moment to acknowledge it and express gratitude. Avoid forcefully distributing your own cards or being overly promotional.
7. Be respectful of the organizers: Show appreciation for the efforts put into organizing the meetup.
8. Avoid excessive self-promotion: While it's natural to share your achievements or work, be mindful not to dominate conversations with constant self-promotion. Engage in a balanced discussion and show genuine interest in others' professional journeys.
9. Respect differing opinions: Professional meetups often bring together individuals with diverse perspectives. Be open to different opinions and engage in respectful dialogue, even if you disagree. Avoid engaging in heated arguments or personal attacks.
10. Follow event guidelines and media: Pay attention to any specific rules or guidelines set by the event organizers. This shall include photography restrictions, postage of photos on social media without consent, or specific event-related protocols. Comply with these guidelines to maintain a respectful and cohesive atmosphere. Individuals shall not post event content on social media or video recordings without proper consent from the organizers.
11. If you are not planning to come out to the meetup. please do decline the invite which allows us to track numbers and plan for appropriate space at the venue.
12. Participants shall pay for their food and drink and entertainment bill for items that are purchased. do not leave the event before you pay your food drink or entertainment bill .

3. Prioritizing Safety: We prioritize safety above all else. If you plan to consume alcohol or cannot drive for whatever reason, the attendee shall not drive on their own. We strongly urge everyone to exercise utmost caution before heading home. If you find yourself in a situation where you have consumed too much alcohol or cannot drive for whatever reason, do not drive; instead, please call a cab or use a designated driver service.
