🎸 Beginner Workshop: Classic BLUES 🎸
Ready to dive into the raw, soulful world of the blues? This beginner-friendly six-week series will walk you through the essential rhythms, riffs, and techniques that shaped modern music—from front porch jams to smoky blues clubs.
We’ll start with the iconic 12-bar blues progression and build from there, exploring easy-to-learn licks, expressive phrasing, and classic grooves inspired by legends like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and Robert Johnson.
You’ll learn:
✅ The 12-bar blues form—and how to jam with it
âś… Easy turnarounds, shuffles, and walk-ups
âś… Classic blues rhythm patterns that lock into the groove
✅ Simple licks and fills to add that “feel”
âś… How to start soloing using just a few notes
Just bring your guitar and a curiosity for the roots of rock, jazz, and beyond. By the end, you’ll be jamming with confidence and style.
