CUFF Favourites Joe Pickett (The Onion) and Nick Prueher (Late Show) have over 13,000 VHS tapes in their collection and have been taking viewers on a guided tour through their latest and greatest finds for twenty years. To celebrate two decades of this VHS nonsense, they will serve up their all-time greatest finds, including the dumbest exercise videos, the craziest public access shows and updates with the most wonderful weirdos they’ve met along the way.

Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher began collecting found videotapes in 1991 after stumbling across a training video entitled, “Inside and Outside Custodial Duties,” at a McDonald’s in their home state of Wisconsin. Since then, they have compiled an impressive collection of strange, outrageous and profoundly stupid videos. Pickett, a writer/director, and Prueher, a former researcher at the Late Show with David Letterman, have written for The Onion and Entertainment Weekly and directed the award-winning documentary, DIRTY COUNTRY. With college friend Mark Proksch, they pulled off the Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser yo-yo pranks that hit local morning TV news shows across the Midwest and have since racked up millions of hits on YouTube.OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Suzie Vinnick tickets from ShowpassThe Nickelodeon Music Club is a folk club in Calgary that has been around for 44 years. Once a month, they present concerts at the Crescent Heights Community Association.
The Nick will be closing off the 2024/25 season with Suzie Vinnick, a Canadian blues legend who is equally at ease in the folk and roots worlds, not to mention gospel and rockabilly. A Saskatoon native transplanted to the Niagara Region of Ontario, Suzie is the proud owner of a gorgeous voice, prodigious guitar and bass chops, and an engagingly candid performance style. She’s has won 12 Maple Blues Awards, won the 2011 Canadian Folk Music Award for Contemporary Vocalist of the Year and is a three-time Juno nominee.
Doors open to single ticket holders at 7:00. Please arrive by 6:45 to line up. It's rush seating, so we will meet in the line and go in to select seats. Inside there are tables and chairs on the main floor and chairs only on the balcony. (The day before the show, I will post in the comments about what I'm wearing to make it easier to find each other.) Please bring a jacket or something similar to put on your seat once you choose it.
There are drinks (card and cash payment) and snacks (cash only) available for purchase. Merch from the artists is usually available for purchase (payment type varies, depending on the artist).
