Join us for a walk up to Firle Beacon with a loop via the Ram Inn.

We will start at 13:30 from Glynde Railway Station (W3W: ///terminal.pelting.revealing).
Trail: 7 miles/11.3 Km should take approx. 3 hours. The trail is up a hill, but the views will be worth it. We will stop once or twice and make sure we take time to enjoy the scenery. For those who have been before this will be a slower hike to enjoy the scenery more.
What to bring: Snacks & Lunch if you want to (vegan only please), drinks (water not vodka), and a waterproof (because this is the UK). This shouldn't be too muddy a trail and walking boots are not a necessity... but your brand new vans will get dirty, so wear shoes you don't mind getting a bit messed up.
Getting there:
Train 🚂 12:56 from Brighton Railway Station to Eastbourne will get into Glynde at 13:19. Trains back are at 14 mins past the hour, so will likely get the 16:14 or 17:14 back. Cost £8.40 without a railcard.Driving 🚗 there is some parking nearby both on street and a the station car park.
Weather 🌧 This is the UK. The weather is at best unpredictable so we will check the day before and post whether this can go ahead. Light rain will not stop us and even if it looks sunny, bring a waterproof.

Oowee are a fully vegan fast food restaurant in the center of town. Super tasty burgers, wraps, mac and cheese, chick'n tenders, fries, and milkshakes.

If you are unable to attend after saying you can come, then please change your RSVP and let James know to give others a chance to join. Repeatedly not showing up or cancelling last minute will affect your ability to attend in the future.
