What we’re about
Welcome to the Brave Women's Community Center Meetup Group!
Our Mission: The mission of The Brave Women's Community Center is to empower women and girls to overcome anxiety, depression, and societal pressures through a variety of healing and creative practices. We aim to build a supportive community where competition is replaced by collaboration, helping each individual to expand, explore, and discover their identities. This nurturing environment encourages women and girls to find their strength and bravery, and to put their own passions into practice in a welcoming and joyful setting.
Our Vision: At The Brave Women's Community Center, we envision a world where every woman and girl feels empowered to confront her challenges, embrace her unique identity, and unleash her creativity. We seek to create spaces filled with laughter, collaboration, and artistic expression, where women and girls from diverse backgrounds come together to explore theatre, dance, music, writing, and spirituality. As we continue to grow, our vision extends beyond Colorado, aiming to establish a network of centers where bravery, play, and mutual support are not just ideals but everyday realities. We envision a community center that is designed to be a joyful sanctuary, fostering personal growth and transformation through a rich tapestry of creative and healing practices.

Tickets are Donation Based.Join us for "Break the Silence: Voices of Narcissistic Abuse," a listening event organized by The Brave Women's Community Center. This event focuses on the complex and often subtle dynamics of narcissistic abuse—a form of psychological manipulation that leaves many survivors without visible scars but profound emotional impacts.
Why This Focus:
Narcissistic abuse can infiltrate any relationship—be it with family, friends, coworkers, or romantic partners. Its signs are not always obvious, and its effects can be deeply damaging. Survivors often struggle with eroded self-esteem, persistent self-doubt from gaslighting, and a warped sense of self-worth, believing the debilitating lies told by their abusers.
Event Purpose:
Our goal is to shed light on this pervasive yet underrecognized form of abuse. We aim to provide survivors a platform to share their experiences and foster a deeper understanding within the community about the real-life implications of such relationships.
Participant Experience:
The evening will be an intimate gathering, where attending in pajamas is encouraged to create a cozy, safe atmosphere. We will listen to audio stories from survivors, offering a window into their journeys of endurance and healing. Following the listening session, the floor will open for a guided discussion, allowing for reflection, bonding, and creative expression through journaling and art.
This event is designed not just to discuss abuse but to cultivate a supportive community, empower attendees, and affirm a collective commitment to recognizing and confronting these hidden dynamics.
Community Impact:
By coming together, we hope to foster a supportive, non-judgmental environment where all attendees, whether directly affected by narcissistic abuse or not, can gain insight, find solidarity, and feel empowered to advocate for healthier relationships in all areas of their lives.
