We would like to welcome you for our next BrabantPHP meetup. This meetup will take place in Breda at Nature House.
Starting time: 19:00 (with food).
Talk - Cashen met Caching - Noah Bochove
As a web developer, you've undoubtedly encountered caching before, often out of necessity and presented as a very clever solution. However, caching is much more than just a band-aid and can actually save you a lot of time, performance, and even money. Based on personal experiences, I'll demonstrate various forms of caching, from the initial proxy to your database, and I'll give examples of sometimes unexpected places where caching can be very useful.

We offer carefully selected holiday houses (19.000 throughout Europe) in the midst of nature on our fresh and flourishing easy-to-use bookingplatform. We want to awaken the world to protect the nature we love (so much). Each time you book with us you donate 1 euro to our biodiversity projects. In the last two years we donated almost 300.000 euros to local projects. When our company thrives, local nature can flourish.

Contribute
Meetup is becoming more expensive every few years (currently $200 per year). Because I am paying everything out of my own pocket it's becoming an expensive hobby. I'm opening a "Tikkie" such that you are able to donate a little bit of money such that I can keep on organizing these events without spending too much money on this myself.
You can donate here: https://tikkie.me/pay/t641t4dt55mej9au4o2e and remember that the meetup remains free of charge and that this is only a voluntary donation.
